Men's ministry New Orleans Fishing Excursion, Sept. 26-28

The Men's Ministry will be heading to New Orleans on September 26 to take part in two days of charter boat fishing in the bayous and marshes in the area with Captain Scott Poche and his team. Captain Poche is a renowned Charter Boat captain who is one of the most sought out charter fishing guides in the area. The cost per person is $495.
The price covers everything including, the boats, our professional charter guides, fishing equipment and all tackle, coolers and ice for the fish we catch packaged the way you like, cleaning of the fish based on your specifications, lodging at the Marina with a check in on September 26 and checkout on September 28. Fishing will begin on Thursday, September 27 and continue on Friday, September 28.
A non refundable deposit of $100 will secure your spot and must be received by July 31.

What does the charter include?
TOURNAMENT QUALITY TACKLE
Tournament quality tackle is provided, including all artificial bait such as soft plastics, spinner bait and gold spoons. If you have any special gear, such as a fly rod, that you would like to take along, no problem
YOUR CATCH CLEANED & PACKAGED
Tell us how you would like your catch cleaned, fillet or on the half-shell, or a little of both, we’ll take care of it. Arrangments can be made to have your catch shipped.
FUEL & ICE
Fuel is always included in the price of our charters. We have a cooler for your catch and another for any drink and food items handy. We will have them ready with ice when you arrive
I don't know how to fish?
That's absolutely ok. Pastor Vince did not either at one point and the charter guide took some time with him and within a couple of hours he had the hang of it. Push through your fear and don't worry about what you don't know how to do. This is one of the most relaxing trips you will ever take with other like-minded men of God.
What should I bring on the fishing trip?
- Sunscreen, protective eye-wear and clothing and insect repellent.
- What you like to eat and drink for the day.
- A small cooler to transport your catch home with you.
- Your fishing license and identification.
- A cooler is provided on the boat for your food and drink items.
- There is a store located at the marina for any last-minute items.
- Rain gear is provided should we need it.
- Don’t forget the most important item, your camera
How many Anglers (Fishermen) per boat?
What time do we leave the dock each morning?
We leave the dock at safe-light, sunrise.
How long will the fishing charter be each day?
A full day charter is an average of 6-8 hours.
What type of vessel will we be fishing from?
We will be fishing from a 23′ x 8 1/2′ Team Avenger center console bay boat equipped with a 250 Yamaha motor.
Where will we be fishing?
We will be fishing in and around the marshes, bayous and bays.
Can I have my catch shipped?
Yes, you sure can.
Captain Poche' and his team can make arrangements to have your catch shipped wherever you like.
What type of bait will I be using?
The leading bait that we use is artificial bait such as soft plastics, gold spoons and spinner bait.
