It's a matter of lack thereof of Spiritual Maturity
The biggest area of struggle for any individual is where he is most needy. He will struggle with that as he looks for people or things to fill the emptiness which makes him needy. Until He surrenders to God completely... you will see his neediness played out in how he approaches relationships and interaction with others. A needy person is an open vessel that allows for spiritual wickedness to use his own thinking against what is good for him. In essence, he has become the weapon formed against himself... and It will prosper if he continues to lean on his own understanding which truly reflects a lack of spiritual maturity.
